Home-educated by design,
self-directed by habit.
I study through Indonesia's home-education pathway (PKBM), where my family and I build a tailored curriculum around real projects. Instead of waiting for permission slips, I learned by founding things: my classroom has been a gym floor, a village in Tulungagung, a riverbank, and a national volunteer expedition.
2021–2022
Apprentice years
Managed social media for House of Mayka for 13 months, producing dozens of visual assets — then did a one-day kitchen internship at Café Senyawa, Solo, to learn commercial SOP from the inside.
2022 · Age 13
Founded Mazaya Fit
Turned an Instagram community into Surabaya's women-only gym. Led operations, a creative division, and certified trainers; served hundreds of members over three years and attracted an external business partner.
2023
Learning to lead beyond my own walls
B2B open house with investors and local health brands; a 6-day village immersion (live-in) in Tulungagung where I learned Javanese Alus to serve elderly residents; youngest participant in APKI's national Training of Trainers (16 intensive hours).
2024
The environmental turn — Zearth.id
Founded Zearth.id, a Gen-Z zero-waste community. Its first action drew ~150 children after a school confirmed attendance one day before the event — I restructured the committee overnight. Ran two microplastic & water-quality field events in a mangrove river.
2025
Discipline & independence
A 4-month service residency as a mosque caretaker (marbot) in Yogyakarta, a national scout jamboree committee, and a solo backpacking trip to Jakarta — deliberately practicing self-reliance away from home.
2026
EcoShe & the Wakatobi expedition
Founded EcoShe Indonesia and joined the IYVA volunteer expedition to Wakatobi's marine biosphere. Next step: a circular-economy degree in Europe — then home, to scale.

Most household purchasing decisions in Indonesia are made by women, yet no education movement speaks to mothers, girls, and children together. EcoShe fills that gap with three tracks of practical circular-economy education — and I designed and built its web platform myself.

Household circularity: mindful shopping, zero-food-waste kitchens, home composting. Challenges include #7HariTanpaPlastik and #21HariKompos.

EcoShe Girls
Systems literacy for students — cradle-to-cradle, circular fashion, EPR — plus portfolio-building challenges like #CircularAt17 and #ThriftFlip.

Play-based learning for ages 5–12: regrow-from-scraps gardening, waste-sorting games, mini compost experiments families can run at home.

Why this is my thesis
From one gym to a national movement — the same playbook.
Mazaya Fit taught me that women organize around trust and community. Zearth.id taught me that children change their parents. EcoShe combines both insights into one theory of change: reach the household, and you reach the economy. A circular-economy degree is how I turn this playbook into policy- and business-grade work.

Environmental & Research Work
Learning the science by standing in the river.
Everything here is first-hand: founding a zero-waste community, sampling microplastics, monitoring water quality, and joining a marine expedition. This is the work that made me choose circular economy as a field of study.
Case study · Zearth.id
Green Planet, Real Action — 150 children, 24 hours' notice.
Situation. Frustrated that only ~7% of Indonesia's plastic waste is recycled, I founded Zearth.id, a Gen-Z zero-waste community. Its first public action (Jan 2024, Taman Prestasi Surabaya) targeted children aged 8–15.
Action. As initiator and lead organizer I built a coalition with two partner communities — then, when a school confirmed 150 extra participants one day before the event, restructured the committee overnight, recruited an additional crowd-ready speaker, and redesigned the venue flow on the spot.
Result. The action ran safely with 150+ child participants, becoming Zearth.id's founding proof that Gen-Z can mobilize partners and stay calm at crisis scale.

Microplastic Identification & Water-Quality Monitoring in a Mangrove River Ecosystem, Surabaya
Abstract. River plastic pollution is largely invisible to city children. We designed a repeatable field protocol — sampling points, microplastic identification, and basic water-quality parameters — and ran it with child participants as both an education format and a data-collection exercise. Before I ever studied a business model, I ran one. This track record is why I trust myself to turn a degree into real-world systems change.
Case study · Founder & Owner
Mazaya Fit — a women-only gym, built from an Instagram account.
Situation. At 13, I saw that Muslim women in Surabaya lacked a safe, private space to exercise — many avoided gyms entirely.
Action. I grew a digital community on Instagram, then converted it into a physical gym. I recruited and led operational staff, a creative division, and certified trainers; designed membership programs; and ran regular health-education events.
Result. Hundreds of active members served across 2022–2025, an external business partner attracted, and a venue that doubled as a community hub — hosting a Ramadan education program for 25 children per session in collaboration with 4+ communities. [ISI angka pasti: member, tim, keberlanjutan]
